User ReviewsFrankly, expected more from Sony. Ability to cancel office noise is limited to adding white noise only. Because it is an in-ear design, some background noise is blocked by design, not electronics. — IffyI purchased it for using during the subway ride to work. It really cuts out most of the low level noise but it also creates hiss noise of its own. One you compare the sound between the on and off position, you will definitely want to have one. It may not be as good as a much higher price active headphone but I would say it it nice for the price.
